Cookies
Cookie policy.
One optional set of analytics cookies, and only if you say yes. Say no and the site sets none at all.
What the site stores
One thing, and only if you use the pricing calculator: the quote you build is kept in your browser's session storage so it can be carried to the enquiry form. It never leaves your device, it is not sent to us until you submit the form, and it is cleared when you close the tab or when the form is sent. That counts as strictly necessary under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, so it needs no consent.
Analytics, only if you accept
When you first visit, a small box asks whether we can use cookies to see how people use the site. If you tap Accept, we load Microsoft Clarity. It records which pages you visit, where you came from, how far you scroll, and where you move, tap and click, so we can see which parts of the site are confusing. Text you type into forms is masked and never recorded. Clarity sets cookies called _clck and _clsk (up to one year) and Microsoft processes the data on our behalf. It is not used for advertising. See Microsoft's privacy statement.
If you tap No thanks, nothing loads and no cookies are set. Your answer is kept in your browser's local storage as cs-consent so we do not ask on every page. You can change your mind any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
What the site does not do
- No analytics unless you accept them (no Google Analytics at all).
- No advertising or retargeting pixels.
- No embedded players from YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram or anyone else. The videos on this site are hosted by us.
- No fonts or scripts loaded from third parties, apart from Clarity once you accept.
- No social share buttons that report back to a platform.
Hosting
The site is served by Netlify. Netlify does not set cookies for a static site like this one.
If that changes
If we ever add anything else that needs consent, we will ask first, on the page, before it loads. This policy and its date will change at the same time.
Checking for yourself
In most browsers, open the page, right-click, choose Inspect, then Application or Storage. If you said no, you will find no cookies for clubssocial.com: just cs-consent in local storage, and one session storage entry called cs-quote if you have used the calculator.
