Case study · Daventry RFC · Season 2026/27
One club. Every section. The real work.
Five senior sides, a junior section and a clubhouse. Everything on this page was made for Daventry's own pages, in Daventry's red and black, never ours. This is what a season with us actually looks like.
Every side, billed like the first team.
Season posters for the 1XV, the 2XV and the 3XV. The Valkyries get the same billing as the men. When the 3XV get the same treatment as the firsts, the whole club shows up in the feed.
The feed, before and after.
Before
After
Before: the club's own phone photos, posted as they came. Nobody's fault. Nobody's job.
After: the same club, the same photos, told properly. In their colours, every section, every week.
The people who never get paid.
Volunteers keep clubs going. The volunteer series names them in public, one a week, and volunteers get shared by everyone who knows them. Captains speak in their own words, never ours.
Thirteen seconds of Tuesday.
Reel · Tuesday night · the team run, the Newnham hill sprint, the tackle bags. Silent on purpose.
Cut from phone footage shot at training. Posted the next morning, when the people who were there share it and the people who weren't wish they had been.
New players find the club.
The Valkyries needed players, so we built the campaign: the rugby, and the rest of it. Posters made to be forwarded on WhatsApp with no caption attached. And when Josh Hutchinson re-signed, the whole town knew about it.
The drumbeat, every week.
Monday gets the week board. Matchday gets a poster. The team sheet gets a carousel. It runs whether the first team are home or away.
Sponsors can see what they're buying.
Pitch boards at £300 a season, sold with a graphic the committee can forward. The U23s' first kit with the sponsor slots drawn on. A partners wall with every local business named. Sponsors' Day in every diary.
The clubhouse TV loop names every partner, refreshed monthly, on the screen everyone watches while they wait at the bar. Partners' names stay the club's, so it isn't shown here.
What all of this does for the club.
More people at the game
Posts go out when people are making plans, not after. The bar, the servery and what's on the clubhouse TV are on every matchday post.
New players find the club
The Valkyries campaign is built to be forwarded on WhatsApp. The U23s launched in August with their own posts from day one.
Volunteers get their due
The people who mark the lines get named in public, weekly. Volunteers get shared by everyone who knows them.
Sponsors renew
Every mention is listed in the monthly report, so renewals come with proof, and the clubhouse TV names every partner, every week.
The committee knows
One page a month, in plain English: what was seen, who shared it, which sponsor got the most eyes.
