Terms
Terms and conditions.
These are the terms for the trial, for Full Time. and for Club Sites. They are written to be read, not skimmed. If a signed agreement between us says something different, the signed agreement wins.
Who you are dealing with
Clubs Social is a trading name. Contact: hello@clubssocial.com. We are based in England. Company registration details will be added here once the company is registered.
You are the club, or the person asking on the club's behalf. By asking us to start the trial or a plan, you confirm you have the authority to do so.
What we provide
- The trial. Two weeks of matchday coverage for your next two fixtures, for £50. Fixture, team news, live score, full time, player of the match. The trial ends when the two weeks are up. It does not roll into a plan unless you tell us to carry on.
- Full Time. The modules and bundles listed on the pricing page, at the prices shown there on the day you order.
- Club Sites. A club website, built for a one-off fee and run for a monthly fee, as described on the Club Sites page.
- Coaching. A preview only. Joining the list costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling, as shown on the site. VAT is not charged until we are registered for it; when we are, it will be added and shown, and you will be told first.
Monthly plans are invoiced monthly in advance. The season setup fee of £250 and the Club Sites build fee are invoiced as agreed in writing before work starts. Invoices are due within 14 days.
We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price change. A price change never applies to a month you have already paid for.
How long it runs, and how to stop
Unless a signed agreement says otherwise, plans run month to month. You can stop at any time by emailing us; the service ends at the end of the month you have paid for. There is no minimum term and no exit fee.
We can also end a plan by email, with at least 30 days' notice, or at once if the club asks us to post something unlawful or breaks these terms.
When a plan ends we hand back everything: logins, files, the finished posts and, for a site, the site itself and its domain settings. We remove ourselves from your accounts.
What you give us
Fixtures, crest, colours, photos, the sponsor list, team news on the day. You confirm the club has the right to use what it sends us, including photos of players and the consents the club's own policy requires for anyone under 18, and permission from sponsors to show their names and logos.
You give us posting access to the club's accounts for the length of the service. The accounts stay the club's. We never change the passwords without telling you.
Who owns what
The finished posts, graphics and site content we make for the club are the club's once they are paid for. Our templates, tools and ways of working stay ours.
We may show work we have made for you as an example of our work, with the club named, unless you tell us not to. We will never show your sponsors' names or logos in our own marketing without their permission.
What we promise, and what we do not
We do the work with reasonable skill and care, to the plan you have chosen. Posting on time depends on the club sending us what we need on time.
We do not promise views, followers, shares or sponsorship income. Any figures on this site are what happened for one club in one month, and are labelled as such. They are not a forecast.
The platforms (Facebook, Instagram and the rest) are not ours. If they are down, change their rules, or remove something, that is outside our control.
Content
We will not post anything unlawful, defamatory, or against a platform's rules, and we may refuse to post something on those grounds. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you send us. We follow the club's safeguarding policy for any image of an under-18.
If something goes wrong
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything the law does not allow us to limit.
Otherwise, our total liability to you for anything arising from a plan is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the problem. We are not liable for lost sponsorship, lost income or other indirect loss.
If you are a consumer
Our customers are clubs. If you are contracting with us as an individual rather than for a club, you have the right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask us to start within those 14 days, you agree we can, and you pay for what we have delivered up to the point you cancel. See the refund policy.
Complaints and the law
If something is not right, email hello@clubssocial.com and we will reply within one working day and try to put it right. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
